Toro Ertestuing - Toro Pea Stew Norwegian 167 Grams (5.9 oz)

Ertestuing is a pea stew that was created in 1963. It is a great accessory to add to traditional Norwegian meals and on its own. It goes great with kjøttkaker (meatballs), torsk (cod), lutefisk, fiskekaker (fish cakes), and pølser (sausages). You can add a little bit of sugar for more sweetness. It is definitely easy to like and easy to make.

Directions:

1. Empty the contents of the bag into a saucepan and pot with 2 1/4 cups (5 DL) of water
2. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for 15 minutes

Ingredients: Peas 93%, sugar, corn starch, salt, rapeseed oil, aroma, citric acid, antioxidant (sodium hydrogen sulfite), dye (curcumin).
